Before 10,000 BC (mainstream) or 1500 BC (truthers), the Earth had only between 1 and 10 million people as the agricultural lands were limited between the 40 degree latitudes with two types of civilisations, one survived on agricultural disabled zone, dependent on limited food cycle from hibernated and seasonal animal migration, the other group were advanced living in megalithic cities near water or safe zone.
Once the warming started, the deluge destroyed to ruble and buried all of those cities and the sea level started to rise due to melting ice and safe zone became too dry for agriculture.
